Description
HD Gear Oil 85W-140 is a premium, heavy duty, mineral automotive gear oil manufactured with modern extreme pressure additives meeting the requirements of API GL-5 and MT-1, as well as many other manufacturer specifications.
APPLICATION
HD Gear Oil 85W-140 is designed for use in heavy duty applications in differentials (both hypoid and limited slip*), manual gearboxes, transfer cases and transaxles in light and heavy duty commercial vehicles, 4WDs, passenger cars, construction, earthmoving and agricultural equipment, where this viscosity grade is required.
HD Gear Oil 85W-140 can also be used in manual gearboxes and transfer cases, especially in some models of trucks, where such an oil is recommended.
HD Gear Oil 85W-140 provides a very high level of protection in all conditions including under heavy shock loads, preventing wear and maintaining the life of critical parts.
Note – DOES NOT contain Limited Slip Additive. For Limited Slip Differentials, add Penrite Limslip Additive at the rate of 150ml per 2 Litres of HD Gear Oil.
Please Note: A 58mm cap with pouring tap is available to fit 20 litre packs.
